The Sims 4 is a life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. The game is the fourth major title in the life simulation video game series. The Sims 4 was originally announced on May 6, 2013, and was released in North America on September 2, 2014. The Sims™ 4 is the fourth installment in the popular life simulation game series, The Sims. It is the latest version of the series and is the first title made under the new EA Maxis label.

Gameplay

The gameplay in The Sims™ 4 consists of two major components: Build Mode and Create A Sim. In Build Mode, players are able to build their own homes from scratch, or use one of the many premade houses. Create A Sim allows players to create their own Sims, determining things such as their gender, hair, makeup, and clothes.
